Contact Lens Fittings · Brooklyn, NY

Contact lens fittings in Brooklyn — precise, comfortable, covered.

First-time fitting included with your eye exam. Daily, monthly, toric, and multifocal lenses available. Most major insurance accepted at our Avenue U office.

What to expect

01

Comprehensive eye exam

Every contact lens fitting starts with a full eye exam to determine your current prescription and check your eye health.

02

Contact lens evaluation

We measure your corneal curvature and eye surface to find the right lens diameter, base curve, and material for your eyes.

03

Trial lens fitting

You'll try on a pair before you leave. We check fit, comfort, and vision — and make sure you can insert and remove them yourself.

04

Lens selection

We'll recommend the right lens type for your lifestyle — daily disposables for convenience, monthlies for value, torics for astigmatism, or multifocals for presbyopia.

Frequently asked questions

Is a contact lens fitting included with my eye exam?

Yes. At Vision Palace Optical, your first contact lens fitting is included with your comprehensive eye exam. If you're an established wearer switching lens brands or types, we'll evaluate the fit at your exam visit. Call us at (718) 998-8400 with any questions.

Does insurance cover contact lens fittings?

Most major vision insurance plans — including EyeMed, MetroPlus, Cigna, Davis Vision, and others — include a contact lens benefit that covers the fitting exam and a lens allowance. Coverage varies by plan. We verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises.

Can I get contacts if I have astigmatism?

Yes. We fit toric contact lenses for astigmatism. These lenses are designed to stay oriented on your eye and correct your vision accurately. They're available in daily and monthly options from major manufacturers.

What types of contact lenses do you carry?

We carry daily disposables, monthly disposables, toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lenses for presbyopia, and extended-wear lenses. During your fitting, we'll help you choose the right type for your prescription, lifestyle, and comfort preferences.
